Vertical Flame Propagation
SPECIFICATIONS:
The MarlinEngineering, Inc ME2300 Vertical Flame Propagation Chamber is designed for conducting tests in accordance with the FAA's “Vertical Flame Propagation Test Apparatus” Document. The chamber has a fixed internal volume (22" x 16" x 22") in which plane specimens can be subjected to a constant radiant heat source provided by an electric furnace. A gas/air ribbon burner impinges the lower edge of the sample initiating sample combustion.
ME2300 Features:
- Coil type tubular radiant heater
- Ribbon Burner with pneumatic operation.
- Electronic ignition system.
- Calibrated gas and air mass flow controllers.
- Software controlled heater power and automatic burner operation during test.
- Rear mount Camera with visual data acquisition software.
- Standard rectangle samples, wire, and heat shrink.
- Stainless steel interior shell.
