Flammability Testing

The MarlinEngineering, Inc ME1000 Flammability Chamber is designed for conducting tests in accordance with the procedures of the Federal Aviation Administration’s “Aircraft Material Fire Test Handbook” DOT/FAA/AR-00/12, Chapters 1 through 4.  The ME1000 includes moveable specimen supports for vertical, horizontal, burn through and wire insulation testing. The Bunsen Burner included is mounted on a moveable carriage that allows for easy and accurate flame positioning.

ME1000 Features:

• Integrated Bunsen burner ignition chamber with vertical, horizontal, 45* burnthrough and 60* wire insulation tests.
• Stainless Steel interior shell.
• Durable powder coated exterior.
• Gas pressure regulator and gauge.
• Flowmeter for accurate and easy flame length adjustment.
• Methane Bunsen burner mounted on sliding platform.
• Electronic ignition and exhaust systems.
